Today I am a Man

Surprise! I have a weblog. I will tell stories and you will read them. This is Jason, in case it doesn't say anywhere. Gene convinced me that it would be easier to have one of these things than to keep sending stories through email/Michele. So I'll give this a shot. But not right now. I have nothing to say. Except SURPRISE!

What's a ping? Do I want them?

Posted by: jason at February 23, 2003 11:57 AM

DUDE, this is SO EXCITING! I can't even explain how happy this makes me. All I can say is YIPEEEE!

Personal Update: I've decided to inerview at college park after all..however, the time frame won't allow for me to come visit. LAME. Also, Erica reminded me that I am too poor to fly to London or New Jersey for spring break... so instead, I will be driving to Tacoma. It's quite the shift.

gooble gobble, one of us.

welcome to the wide world of web dorkery, my friend.

Posted by: Ian at February 24, 2003 12:23 PM

Um, I think pings are good. But I'm really not sure. I just ignore them. Does that help? I thought it would.

PS- I just found out that the annoying liar girl is leaving sometime soon. Sherri Minnik whisered it to me in the teacher's lounge. We're not sure if she got fired or quit or what. All I know is that I am so goddamn excited for her to get the hell out of here. Goodness Gracious!

Posted by: Jolie at February 24, 2003 01:53 PM

Shit, Jolie, I'm so happy the liar girl is leaving. I felt bad about leaving you there with her. But who's gonna complain about black people to you ten times a day now?

That sucks that you guys can't make it, but I'll see you by and by.

Posted by: jason at February 24, 2003 03:52 PM

Thanks for the welcome, Ian. I hope I can successfully follow in your guys' dorky shoes.

Posted by: jason at February 24, 2003 03:55 PM

YAY!!!

Posted by: tracy at February 25, 2003 09:46 AM

Today, the liar girl asked me how you were doing. And then she asked how often we talked. And then she asked me to give you a "special hello" message from her. She also called you my "partner in crime." Ha, like we were ever up to crime. We were involved in no Hillcrest-related crim activities. Fucking loudass nosey liar girl.

Posted by: Jolie at February 26, 2003 03:26 PM

jason write something new already for cripes sake.

p.s. i hate that fucking liar girl. her nose is in a crimp. a crimp i tell you.

Posted by: michele at February 26, 2003 03:35 PM

I'll write something new on the weekend. But a little info for right now. I got two jobs! It's awesome. I work with the pischers in the morning, and then supervise middle school kids in the afternoon, both of which I get paid far more than the jobs are actually worth. This was the stress-free life I was looking for. Don't worry, both jobs end before summer, so I'm not thinking of staying or anything. Jobs or no, this place still sucks cock.

Hey, maybe I should just comment instead of post. It's easier.

Posted by: jason at February 26, 2003 04:43 PM

wow, so you really DO have a weblog... i thought it was all some elaborate game everyone was playing on me because i haven't been checking the pages (makin' the rounds, makin' the rounds) lately. i am pleasantly surprised. and it looks good too. very manly, yes.

Posted by: erica at February 26, 2003 05:15 PM

definately full of sperm and vigor. yes.

Annoying Liar Girl update..... she has now added to her resume' that she once worked on a sheep sheering farm! Nancy had this yearn for knitting... and ALG says "is that wool... it feels like wool..... I would know because I used to work on a sheep sheering farm." Then she looks at the book I'm reading and asks if it was written by an African American woman. I say "I'm not sure, the book was a gift, so I don't know about the author." She promptly responded with some diatribe about the reverse racism that can be found in books written by African American authors.

Damn she drives me nuts.

Posted by: Jolie at February 27, 2003 03:04 PM

That is the lyingest ho I've ever known. She worked on a sheep farm like I worked on a sheep farm. (ie. 3 months max.)

Wow - I continue to be amazed by the boundlessness of marketing.

Posted by: Jolie at October 10, 2003 07:39 PM

Although they clearly didn't do any location research. My dead webpage isn't really the best place to sell widgets.

It's true. Marketing geniuses, they are not.
